  1. Do you have a following among the clergy in Africa? I have good friends among the priesthood and nuns in Kenya. I know they favor ordination of women, and ending celebacy, but have not been public about it. Do you know of any forward-thinking groups to which I could refer them. I attend mass celebrated by Reverend Juanita Cordero, a fully ordained priest in Los Gatos, CA. Naturally the Vatican does not recognise her legitimacy as a priest, but I believe God does. To me the Vatican is irrelevant.

I have just purchased the Children’s Crusade and look forward to reading it.

    • Dear Margo, I got the book off to you today. If you like it spread the word. I autographed it to Margaret McAuliffe since I didn’t know you went by Margo. I was at one of Juanita’s liturgies last August with Dave Van Etten. I don’t have direct contact with those in Africa. But you might put them in touch with Corpus (my contact is David Gawlik who edits their Mirabile Dictu) and also the Fed. of Christian Ministries (contact Jerry Grudzen in San Jose). Still another Cath group is the Assn. for the Rights of Catholics in the Church (ARCC). You can get more info on line. Of course, you know of the Womens Ordination group via Juanita. Thank you again for your interest. We may meet again as I come out to my home ground yearly in the Bay Area. Best. Gene
